Open Insert Tab and Insert Items

Open the Insert tab in the ribbon to access PivotTables, charts, add-ins, Sparklines, pictures, shapes, and more.

Alt + N

When to use it

When you need to insert a PivotTable, chart, add-in, Sparkline, picture, shape, or other object in an Office app.

Pro tip

After pressing Alt+N, you can press additional keys to directly insert specific items, like T for table or C for chart.
