Copies the value from the cell directly above the active cell into the current cell or the formula bar.

When to use it

When you need to quickly duplicate the value from the cell above without using copy-paste.

Pro tip

Works in both the cell and formula bar; if the cell above contains a formula, it copies the formula, not the result.
