Activate the menu bar in the active app

Press F10 to activate the menu bar of the currently active application, allowing you to navigate menus using keyboard arrows.

When to use it

When you need to access menu options without using a mouse, especially in apps with traditional menu bars like File, Edit, View.

Pro tip

After pressing F10, use arrow keys to move between menus and submenus, and press Enter to select an item. Press Esc to close the menu bar.
