Switch between open apps
Quickly cycle through open application windows. Hold Alt and press Tab to open the switcher; continue pressing Tab to move forward, or Shift+Tab to move backward. Release Alt to switch to the selected app.

When to use it
Use to rapidly switch between multiple open applications without using the mouse, especially when working with several programs simultaneously.
Pro tip
Press Alt+Tab and release Tab (but keep Alt held) to keep the switcher open; then use arrow keys or mouse to select a window. Press Alt+Shift+Tab to cycle backward.
