Switch to Tab Number

Press Ctrl + Number (1-9) to switch to the corresponding tab in your browser or tabbed application. For example, Ctrl+1 goes to the first tab, Ctrl+2 to the second, and so on.

When to use it

Use this shortcut when you have multiple tabs open and want to quickly jump to a specific tab without clicking.

Pro tip

Ctrl+9 always switches to the last tab, regardless of how many tabs are open.
