Copy file on drop

Hold Ctrl while dragging a file to drop a copy instead of moving it.

When to use it

When you want to duplicate a file to a different folder without using copy-paste.

Pro tip

Works in File Explorer and on the desktop. Release the mouse before releasing Ctrl to ensure a copy is created.
