Fill selected cell range with current entry

Enter the same data into multiple selected cells at once. After typing the value, press Ctrl+Enter to fill all selected cells with that entry.

When to use it

When you need to enter the same value, formula, or text into multiple non-adjacent cells or a range without copying and pasting.

Pro tip

Combine with Ctrl+Click to select non-contiguous cells, then press Ctrl+Enter to fill them all with the same content.
